Montana Solid Rock has worked on a multitude of beautiful, eye-catching projects that can be seen around the entire state of Montana. From hot springs, to lodges, to parks, our projects span a wide array of unique, well-crafted landscapes that enhance the experience.
Although we’ve worked on a multitude of amazing projects, here are some of our favorites:
OUR PROJECTS
ALPINE QUARRY
This quarry is located next to the Castle Stone quarry and it has a diversity of colors and texture. Although these quarries are slightly different, they complement each other well. This quarry is a quartzite formation that has lighter earth tone colors with a core that is normally a lighter grey. Although there are some darker greys found, the majority of the product harvested caters to masons, architects, landscapers as well as home owners. Thin veneer products are also available and processed on site. Earth tones that are seen will be different shades of light brown, beige, speckled quarts-white and grey. The mountain has many formations that provide a variety of products.
BOZEMAN HOT SPRINGS
Located in Bozeman, MT, the Bozeman Hot Springs is a recreational facility with 12 pools: eight indoor and four outdoor. When we accepted this project, there was only one pool outside, and we were able to help the design and implementation of three brand new pools, reserve-able venues, and even a stage for live music. Through the use of different styles of rocks, we were able to add fire walls, fire pits, decorative rocks, and structural formations to create an incredible ambiance for the outdoor experience.
